Key Topic 2017

Die intelligente Fabrik zum Anfassen und Begreifen

EN

Smart Factory – Touch and Feel

Kontext

Context

DE

EN

Machines communicate with each other and inform each other about errors in the production process. They identify scarce material stocks and order them themselves. Their intelligence also connects all those involved in the value chain: customer, supplier, supplier and partner. Production merges with information technology, robots relieve and protect people, individual production is not more complex than serial production. All this describes only a section of the 'Smart Factory'.

And all this happens today. Digital transformation has left the stage of abstract principles and concepts. Many companies, obeying the needs and wishes of their customers, have already developed their factories into the "Smart Factory". They already benefit from higher productivity, more efficiency, lower production costs, better quality and more and more individuality. And their ‘Smart Factory' rises a sea of data. These can, using the latest technologies, be automatically detected, collected, processed and analyzed. The 'relevant' data creates additional value for additional business opportunities in brand new business models.

The 4th edition of the Smart Factory Innovation Forum wants to present the ‘smart factory for touch and feel’. Numerous manager of various companies will report their routes of the digital transformation of their enterprises. The experiences gained from it, occurred obstacles and how overcome them as well as the drivers for the digital innovations we want to share and discuss with entrepreneurs, plant managers, startup founders and experts.

Wer teilnehmen sollte und warum

Who should attend and why

DE

Ihnen will das Innovationsforum

  • Erfahrungen und Lernergebnisse aus bereits fortgeschrittenen Unternehmen in der digitalen Transformation anbieten und mit ihnen teilen;

Speaker

Dr. Reinhold Bareiß

CEO & Owner, Eagle Peak GmbH

After many years in standard ERP based surroundings, as head of SW development for a logistics and consulting company dealing with optimization of processes, he felt there must be a better, more suitable solution that enables smooth and automatic transitions between the various process steps within an organization. 16 years of experience and successful projects in the field make him an old hand who has the knowhow to guide the transition to a digital company and make it work.

And THE WINNER 2016 IS...

Nano Dimension

The Jury and the conference participants have voted!

We are proud to announce the winner of the 'TÜV SÜD INNOVATION AWARD FOR DIGITIZED INDUSTRIES 2016': Nano Dimension.

Nano Dimension’s novel proprietary technologies enable the use of advanced nanoparticle conductive and dielectric inks for in-house rapid prototyping of complex, high-performance multilayer printed circuit boards (PCBs).

The Jury has assessed all award nominees in the categories: ‘Value Proposition’, ‘Innovation Level’, ‘Market Size’, ‘Business Model’ and ‘Management’. Furthermore, all conference participants of the 3rd Smart Factory Innovation Forum on 18th October 2016 in Munich were invited to give their vote after the startups' 3-minutes pitches on stage, using their smart devices. The participants assessed the start-ups' performance in the categories ‘Business opportunity’ and ‘Pitch presentation’.

More details about the winner:  http://www.nano-di.com/

Press release: http://www.tuev-sued.de/tuev-sued-konzern/presse/pressemeldungen/nano-dimension-mit-tuev-sued-innovation-award-ausgezeichnet

Winner's Profile 2016:
NANO DIMENSION
